Lumion Pro Overview With a completely redesigned rendering engine, Lumion 2023 begins a new chapter. In October 2022, we revealed that ray tracing was coming to Lumion – a huge undertaking that meant completely rebuilding our rendering engine from the ground up. Today, the time has finally come: Lumion 2023 is now live! Lumion 2023 is unlike any previous software release. By completely redesigning our rendering engine to include ray tracing alongside rasterization, we can now provide a platform that is faster and easier to improve than ever before. Lumion Pro Key Features New Rendering Engine Lumion 2023 Since Lumion was founded, the idea that 3D rendering should be accessible to every architect and designer, regardless of their technical background, has driven us forward. Our goal has always been to provide a fast, easy and intuitive way to visualize the future. Empowering architects to create without barriers or hesitation, we showcase designs that go beyond form and function to capture hearts and minds. In many ways, the release of Lumion 2023 represents a fundamental and comprehensive change to the software. Lumion 2023 features a hybrid rendering engine that works with rasterization and ray tracing to help you achieve the highest quality results regardless of your hardware. So if you don’t have a graphics card that supports ray tracing, you can still see a significant improvement in Lumion’s rendering quality thanks to improved rasterization technology throughout your building architecture, landscape or interior design. Ultimately, it’s not about the technology itself, but how it’s used for a higher purpose. Whether that’s developing a design, exploring ideas or presenting your vision for the future, that purpose is entirely up to you. Introducing Ray Tracing v0.9 Unlike rasterization, ray tracing doesn’t require clever tricks to mimic reality: it calculates how light behaves in the real world. When enabled, your renders automatically feature more realistic indirect lighting, off-screen reflections, contact shadows, and more. Lumion’s new ray-traced effect lets you control the number of samples and bounces, giving you more control over the final result. See your design in a new light Lumion 2023’s new lighting system opens up a world of possibilities, allowing for more natural-looking renders. Reflections now work automatically whenever the ray-traced effect is active. With ray tracing, curved surfaces now display accurate reflections, eliminating the need for reflection planes. In its first implementation, the ray-traced effect does not support glass or water reflections. Make your surfaces real Often, the smallest details help communicate your design most effectively. Reflections on the facade. Light shining through the curtain. Wet cobblestone street. When materials look authentic, your design comes to life. When you can fine-tune these details with just a few clicks, you can create a viewing experience that appeals to all of your senses. Improved Material Editor The material editor has been significantly improved to give you better control over your material settings. Lumion 2023’s material editor has the following options. Additional Material Features Lumion 2023’s raster workflow lets you control the scattering of the subsurface. This gives objects a translucent effect, allowing light to penetrate the object and be subtly diffused. You can also influence the tone of the scattered light by assigning a color to the material map. VirusTotal: Installation: Patch.com/7cgui e9bec9d45e0d5aa1e6381c7a6939309b025d 4e1264ac0 f4b5/detection
