When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they brought Harrison Ford on board, Segel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford guy”; and he was going to audition with the likes of Ford.

Segel told Goldstein that he should at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn it down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought into the project, which would generate interest from others prominent actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him on the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was excited nonetheless.
This show is amazing!!
The characters grow a lot in the first and second episode as well, the jokes are perfectly timed and executed and all the Actors do a great job! This is one of the best ax episodes I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does an incredible job in his supporting role and Jason Segal does a wonderful job playing a flawed, damaged character who is trying to be a better person and father.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a while!
This show made me laugh like I haven’t in a long time. As a psychology student, this show is hilarious, and as a theater student, I can appreciate the fluidity of the script. I can’t understand the negative reviews because this is already one of my favorite shows after only two episodes.
