Line of Events
An agnostic sex podcaster and a new rabbi fall in love and discover if their relationship can survive their completely different lives and their families’ meddling. The show was originally called “Shiksa,” which is also the last word in the first episode. This show is exhilarating. The storyline is funny, witty, and warm. The main characters have great chemistry, and all the supporting characters add their own beloved touches. Kristen Bell is one of those actresses who makes the best decisions about what she participates in and what she does, and this show is no exception. This story makes you want to be a part of their world. Adam Brody’s character is like Seth, but 20 years later: grown up, mature, and still as funny and charming as ever. I sincerely hope they continue the series and continue to provide us with more interesting content. One of my favorite light comedy shows of the year!
