This is a stripped down version of Windows 10 based on Build 1511-10586 (also known as the November Update or TH2)
The minimum system requirements remain the same as expected, although this custom version of Windows should run faster than the original due to the number of changes that have been made, which are listed below.
This is the second version, the version that supports 32-bit CPUs
I also have the first version in my profile which is 64 bit.
These will need to be manually downloaded and installed depending on each PC’s specs – Removed some accessibility items – Removed speech and Cortana support – Removed search (search bar in Explorer still works) – Removed Windows Media Player – Enabled Windows Photo Viewer to use instead of the metro app “Photos”, although images will first open in Paint until the user changes the default app to Windows Photo Viewer
*** IMPORTANT NOTE: WHEN YOU FEEL AT THE “GET GOING FAST” SCREEN, CHOOSE CUSTOMIZE SETTINGS THEN DISABLE EVERYTHING TO RUN WINDOWS *** System Requirements • Processor: 1 Gigahertz or faster process (GHz) /PAE SSE2 (if Windows 8 worked, it will work) • RAM: 1 GB 64-bit (technically only 512 MB needed) • Hard disk space: 20 GB • Graphics card: DirectX 9 or higher Changes and information (always the most important): – Removed most of Metro apps except Edge, Store and Calculator – Removed most non-essential drivers (eg graphics, printer, network).
-Games from the store no longer work (couldn’t figure out why)
– Hibernation disabled – Page file disabled – Firewall removed (although in some cases it may appear while using the program, and the service is not removed, because it is essential) – Windows update is not removed, but there is no guarantee that it will work, since I always disable it via services.msc (you still need to enable it to install apps from the store), -Apps from the store should work though…
